The 56th annual Midwest Solid State Conference will be held October 9 - 10, 2010, in Nielsen Hall on the Norman campus of the University of Oklahoma

The University of Oklahoma is proud to host the 56th Midwest Solid State Conference on October 9-10, 201. This conference draws a large number of top theoretical and experimental physicists from around the central United States and is traditionally held every fall. 

Attendees are from all levels of the solid state community, from graduate students and postdoctoral researchers to tenured faculty.  The conference covers a wide range of solid-state materials and topics, and draws around 100 attendees every year. In addition to the plenary talk there will be invited talks (currently being arranged) and a poster session.
